Greek Wars
- Wars were very common in Ancient Greece. City States will fight each other, and often will get together to fight as allies.
Greek soldiers were trained to fight in lines. This way when they all march together, no arrows or spears could get through their walls of shields.
- ARES was the great Olympian god of war; he spread order and mainly courage.
- The helmet, heavy spear, the sword and shield were the equipment that defined the Greek Warrior.
- Women were no allowed to participate on any war. The soldiers could be from 18 up to 60 years old
