ProMetheUs-Protector and benefactor of MAN!!!

I am Prometheus, and I am the son of Iapetus and Clymene. My name means “forethought”, and I am one of the Titans or Gods of the Olympus. Long time ago I made a beautiful piece of art, it was the first man. I used clay and I put pieces of other creatures to create him. As a good father, I taught him many things so he could live and learn how to work alone. Later, I realized that he was not going to be able to advance without the fire, so took the fire from Zeus and gave it to him. This gift could not be taken away from him because he was mortal, so Zeus decided to take revenge on me. He asked Kratos and Bia, his servants, to take me to Mount Caucasus where I was suposed to be all the eternity. He also asked Hephaestus to create the same creature but this time also with its opposites, it was the first woman. Finally I was so lucky that Heracles released me from that ugly place in Caucasus.

My soul is going to be always happy because people still remember me as the protector and benefactor of man!
